Mountain Top Sojourn
We headed up to the mountain top for a stay at a cozy little wooden cabin...
... that comes with a picturesque view of the surrounding mountains.
I was so excited I practically ran all the way up the hill...
... to our little abode at the top.
Taking a breather under the tree after all the running .
The water sprouting frog at the side of the pool... not the best job if you ask me.
This is my nameless furiend, who came to play with me. I think she is the family dog of the indigenous tribe living in a village nearby.
In the late afternoon, we took a leisurely stroll along the path on the hill...
... that was lined with durian trees... which were in full season with plenty of durians hanging on each tree. Durians are one of my favorite fruits if you recall from this post.
We stopped at our track to enjoy the scenery as dusk set in.
The sunset view at the top of the mountain was really breathtaking...
... as I watched the sun painted the dusky sky with its beautiful glow.
Unbeknown to me, mother nature has another show for that evening, as it started to rain...
...but it did not rain for long... and right after the rain stopped, the next show began.
Lo and behold! In a splendor of colors, a rainbow formed over the mountain... it was truly an amazing sight.
A nocturnal visitor, twice the size of my paws... under the moonlit stillness of the night.
Break of dawn over the misty mountain.
*Yawnnnnnnn* Wakie, wakie.
Fresh and bright, the sun rose before my eyes.
Checking on the infinity pool, but it was too cold for a morning swim.
As the sun started to rise over the horizon...
... my furiend from the village came to visit me again, I think she missed me.
Chilling at the deck...
... whilst waiting for the hoomans to prepare breakfast.
I wished days like this, could just go on forever...
... as butterflies happily dancing away in pair...
... whilst the water lily blossomed gingerly in the morning air.
Putrajaya
Putrajaya is the federal administrative center of Malaysia located south of the federal territory of Kuala Lumpur. At the background, is the majestic Putra Mosque, located at the Perdana Square.
Over here in the background is Perdana Putra, which houses the office complex of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, something akin to the White House in Washington DC.
We had a leisure walk around the streets of the administrative center...
... during one of the weekends when it was deserted of any hooman activities.
I'm in front of the Treasury Building which houses the Ministry of Finance, an important department according to the hoomans...
... but how could that be? Isn't the Ministry of Treats the most important one!
As we continued with our walk, we ended up at a park which overlooks the futuristic, cable-stayed Seri Wawasan Bridge...
... that has a sail ship appearance from far.
That's an interesting looking structure over there...
... but the smell over here are equally interesting too.
This tall structure is the Millennium Monument, which is analogous to the Washington Monument in Washington DC. At night, the monument serves as a beacon with strong light which also acts as guide to cruise boats.
We walked along the pavement under the morning sun...
... and I saw more buildings and open parks around me.
Over here, at the background is the Seri Saujana Bridge, another cable-stayed arch bridge in the administrative center.
A close shot of the bridge as we made our way home after the walkie.
Trip to The Shops
The hoomans needed to get some stuff, so off we went to the shops.
As I was checking for any peemails... the cat kept a watchful eye on me from inside the window...
... and so did this little Sheltie puppy too.
Rode on the escalator...
... to the shops above the mall.
Waited for cheche outside whilst she went into the shops... and it was boring.
I became restless with all the inactivity...
... so I wandered off on my own...
... to check out the place.
But I didn't get to go far before the hoomans called... and I was back waiting for koko to get his dee-vee-dee whatever.
This shopping thingy with the hoomans really sucks, if you ask me... all the waiting and no running, swimming or any sniffpedition, bah!
