Seaside Excursion

We went on an excursion to the east coast for a weekend getaway at the beach.

Having a pit stop at the roadside to refill our tummies...

... with some yummy snacks at the makeshift stall.

Hey! Pass some of the coconut over here. The dog needs to refresh too, ya know.

This is more like it... I love to eat coconut flesh...

... as it cools the body on a hot sunny day.

Woohoo! Finally we arrived at the beach...

... and I wasted no time in checking out the place.

Sniffing for important pee mails on the ground.

Getting some love from cheche...

... before cheche and koko disappeared to town for some toast and coffee...

... at their favorite restaurant that served the most delicious nasi dagang (rice steamed in coconut milk with fish curry).

What is a dog to do but to wait patiently at the resort.

This is Charlie the cocker spaniel, my next door neighbor.

Cotton, the resident cat having his afternoon nap...

... whilst Peter rabbit is searching for food.

Hooman puppy playing on the trampoline...

... and hooman puppy biting on a funny looking bone.

Later in the day, hooman puppy and I played at the beach...

... where I got to know some new furiends too.

This is Moose the bull terrier from UK.

A little hermit crab in a shell... now you see it...

... now you don't... nom nom nom.

One of my favorite activities is taking the raft out to sea.

And with a good distance out...

... I would dive into the water...

... for a good swim...

... back to the shore.

This is a lot of fun and I would do this several times...

... until I'm dog-tired before resting on the sandy beach.

Back to the city to pick meimei up at the babysitter... perhaps the next time she can join us.

You've still got it, Hero. Your break from noseventures hasn't slowed you down at all. I bet you can't wait until you can bring meimei along and teach her to swim and dive and stuff, too.

hey Hero,

BUNNY!!!! Oh, excuse me.

What a pawsome adventure! The beach looks wonderful and super fun, except I am not so sure about going out into the ocean and swimming back to shore. I am very impressed that you did that, though! Did you really eat a hermit crab, shell and all?!? Ouch! The shell might hurt coming out. BOL!

Love the photo of you waiting patiently at the resort. You look so serene! And Cotton is a cutie! Charlie is very pretty! You meet such great friends! Even the hooman pups are adorable! And Moose look very cool!

Thanks for sharing your great adventure! Too bad meimei missed out, but maybe next time!

p.s. My human said the nasi dagang looks delicious!

Dear hero,

You have the most fun excursions. I am so jealous. How did you learn to be on a raft like that? Don't you get scared when it bobs up and down? And eating a crab! Ouch! Didn't it nip you? My humans love coconut water too :) I wouldn't know. They've never given me any.

Not fair, Hero! NOT FAIR!

That's my favourite beach and resort too. Although I don't swim, I love playing and doing zoomies at the beach.
I'd tried my best to make friends with Peter Rabbit but he didn't really want to talk to me, I'll try again next time when I'm there again.
How I wish I were there so I could learn swimming from you. You're such a good swimmer, Hero. I'm truly impressed!

Hello my furiend Hero,

I'm so glad to see you are doing well, I'm sorry I haven't been around to visit but it's my hooman's fault.

You sure do get to go on fun trips. I think you should enter the Olympics with your diving technique off the rubber boat..I give you 10s!!
