Jungle Trekking, Bukit Gasing

We went trekking in the tropical jungle.

The energy sapping uphill climb.

Taking a breather on top a rock ledge.

*sniff! sniff!* There's a lot of fire ants on this log... better be careful of their nasty bites.

Leading the way into the jungle.

I encounter a variety of flora and fauna.

We follow the flow of a stream running into the jungle...

... and it leads us to another path.

Oops... are we lost?

The dense jungle is a scary place to get lost.

Look there's a bridge.

Let's cross over, maybe there's a way out.

It's getting dark and we trek by the stream looking for our passage out.

More fallen tree logs.

No fear... I can jump over this.

Finally we found the sign...

... and what a relief to see civilisation.
